feleségem, Wanda hogylétérQl. Ezt most teszem utoljára. Március végén eljutottunk arra a pontra, amikor Wandát a Sion idQsek otthonában kellett elszállásolnunk. Egyre súlyosbodó betegsége során majd hét éven át vele lehettem és gondoskodhattam róla. De attól kezdve át kellett költöztetnünk Qt. Ruhásszekrényeket kellett kipakolni, személyes dolgait szétszortírozni. Az elmúlt években már tanácsos volt felkészülni az elbúcsúzásra. És most, hét héttel az átköltöztetése után, eljött a végsQ búcsú, amikor Wanda bemehetett az örök dicsQségbe. </span></p> <p><span class="ds780">Wanda, amennyire az idQsek otthonának körülményei megengedték, néhány személyes tárgyát magával vihette. De az utolsó búcsú után minden egyes darab hátramaradt. Így lesz ez egy napon mindannyiunkkal. Pál, az Q lelki-szellemi fiának, Timóteusnak így tette ezt érthetQvé: «mert semmit sem hoztunk a világba, nem is vihetünk ki semmit belQle» (1Tim 6,7). Jób ezt egészen drasztikus módon szemlélteti: «Mezítelen jöttem ki anyám méhébQl, mezítelen is megyek el. Az ÚR adta, az ÚR vette el. Áldott legyen az ÚR neve!» (Jób 1,21). Ugyanezt olvassuk a Préd 5,14-ben: «Ahogyan világra jött anyja méhébQl, mezítelenül, úgy megy el ismét, ahogy jött; semmit sem kap fáradozásáért, amit magával vihetne.» Fiatal éveiben az ember talán még nem annyira gondol e kemény tényre. De ez a valóság, amit sajnos egyes keresztyének sem vesznek olykor figyelembe. Úgy élnek és úgy viselkednek, mintha örökre a földön maradhatnának. Bizonyos, hogy lehet mindenünk és élvezhetjük is azok elQnyeit, amelyeket a mi mennyei Atyánk nekünk ajándékozott. Ám ezeket csak idQlegesen bízta mireánk. LegkésQbb a halálunk napján veszíthetjük el földi javainkat. Salamon király a Prédikátor könyvében világít rá beható módon az élet és a gazdagság múlandóságára és jelentéktelenségére. És elég nehezen birkózik meg azzal a gondolattal, hogy egyszer azt majd más fogja örökölni: «Meggyqlöltem mindazt, amit fáradsággal szereztem, míg fáradoztam a nap alatt, mert más emberre kell hagynom, aki utánam k</span><span class="ds780">övetkezik» (Préd 2,18). Tudatában volt, hogy halálakor mindenét, összes kincsét másra kellett hogy hagyja. <br> </span><span class="ds779"><span class="ds785"><span class="ds501"><br> </span></span></span><span class="ds780">A mi Urunk, Jézus figyelmeztet minket: «Ne gyqjtsetek magatoknak kincseket a földön, ahol a moly és a rozsda megemészti, és ahol a tolvajok kiássák és ellopják, Mert ahol a kincsed van, ott lesz a szíved is.» (Mt 6,19.21). A molyok és a rozsda aktuális behelyettesítQ fogalmai ma a pénzügyi válság és a bankcsQdök. Egyesek egész vagyonokat építettek fel, hoztak össze és élére rakták a garast. És egyszer csak semmi sincs többé! Nem lett volna jobb az örökké megmaradó értékekre koncentrálni? Nekünk is fel kell tennünk magunknak a kérdést, hogy a mi Urunktól nem tartottunk-e vissza valamit. P nekünk ehhez egy nagyon finom, érzékeny fokmérQt adott: a szívünket. Vizsgáljuk hát meg önmagunkat, mi körül is forognak a mi gondolataink, hol is a mi szívünk! Talán szép házunk körül? Autónknál, amit hetente fényesre polírozunk? Vagy talán a bankszámla körül ill. a pénzünknek lehetQ legjobb befektetése körül?</span></p> <p><span class="ds780">A halál pillanata mindennek véget vet. Semmit sem vihetünk magunkkal. Mivel fogunk találkozni a másik oldalon? Hogyan állhatunk meg a mi Urunk elQtt? Az egyik ének szövegíróját nagyon foglalkoztatta ez a kérdés: «Üres kézzel kell mennem, így kell Uram elé állnom?» Az 1 Kor 4-ben Pál figyelmeztet arra, hogy jó sáfárok legyünk. Az ezt megelQzQ fejezetben arról beszél, hogy mi Isten munkatársai vagyunk. De valóban Pneki, Pérte dolgozunk-e? Az örökkévalóság elsQ napján ez meg fog mutatkozni: «Az a nap fogja világossá tenni, mivel tqzben jelenik meg, és akkor mindenkinek a munkája nyilvánvalóvá lesz &» (1Kor 3,13).</span><span
